Steve has extensive Military
and Civil Flying experience totaling about 13,500
hrs. From 1976 to 1980 he flew the DeHaviland
Canada Caribou transport in the Tactical transport
role, operating in Australia, Papua New Guinea
and Indonesia.
He then specialised as a Military Flying Instructor
flying the Macchi MB326H, CT4A and Northrop T-38A
Talon (on exchange duties with the USAF).
Before joining a major Australian airline, Steve
worked as a Flying Instructor in Canberra.
Since 1988 he has operated most Boeing 747 variants
and is currently a Captain on the Airbus A330.
On his days off, Steve also flies our YAK-52.
